good and bad - Quite a good interesting book at the beginning, but faded towards the end, the last chapter is of no inspiration to any would be entrepreneur. I sympathize with the fall of the business, but someone who has clearly lost what they passionately loved and still carrying certain resentment in my opinion would not be an ideal person to be seeking guidance from, possibly in the future when all has cleared then who knows.

Packed with good advice. - I ve put off buying this book for ages, mainly I think because of the title. But when I did finally get round to reading it I realised it is anything but negative. It s an amazingly positive exploration of some of the problems and hurdles entrepreneurs can encounter and packed with very good advice. Rachel Elnaugh herself is an inspiration - having come through an appalling experience without the least trace of self-pity and an incredibly positive outlook. A worthwhile read for anyone running their own business.

A book which will make business folk under pressure feel better - I have been a business owner for 40 years with experience of running a number of different enterprises and from time to time one comes up against difficult situations. Under pressure at the moment this book helped to put me in a much more positive and clear thinking mode. A well written book and a good read. Patrick Murphy

Interesting, but sometimes a little tiresome - I read the first half of this book very quickly and found some interesting insights into the world of business. It did, however, lack detail, which was frustrating at times and I got VERY sick of the words my own business, RED LETTER DAYS which seemed to occur about 5 times a page. Anyone reading it would have known about Red Letter Days, and if you didn t, you would have done after the first page, so repeating it did get a little tiresome.Otherwise, a reasonable read which passed the hours! The best bit was the part about energy (needing lots of it) and how to avoid situations and people that sap your reserves. Useful advice!

Truly inspiring - I have read a lot of business books but few are as inspiring as this especially coming during a time I was experiencing a crisis...the book gave me the needed energy to push forward and fight..truly God sent
